About

My name is Corey B. Gonzalez, a professional skateboarder from Lakeland, Florida, with over 25 years of experience on a board and more than a decade working as a medical foot specialist.

My career has always been about more than tricks and contests — it’s about education, balance, and building something lasting for the next generation of skaters.

Growing up in Polk County, I saw firsthand how skateboarding can keep kids focused, creative, and out of trouble. It’s not just a sport — it’s a community, a lifestyle, and for many of us, it’s therapy.

That’s why I founded Lakeland Skate Shop, to keep skateboarding alive in our city and create a hub that supports local skaters, families, and future talent.

Through LevelSeven Skateboards, my own pro model line, I combine years of skate experience with my background in foot health to promote performance, injury prevention, and longevity in skating.

Each deck, t-shirt, and lesson is built around the same mission: help skaters push further, stay healthy, and evolve.

This isn’t just about me — it’s about us.

Lakeland Skate Shop is a platform for the local scene: a place where skaters can learn, progress, and find gear they can actually trust.

From offering private lessons, group sessions, and camps, to hosting community events and supporting up-and-coming creatives like videographers, writers, and artists, we’re here to make sure skateboarding continues to grow — in Lakeland, Polk County, and beyond.

When you shop with us or book a lesson, you’re not just supporting a brand — you’re backing a movement to keep skateboarding alive in Central Florida.

Every product sold, every student taught, and every board landed is a piece of that mission.

So whether you’re here to learn, to ride, or to give back — welcome to Lakeland Skate Shop.

Let’s roll together and keep this culture alive.
